Gaining all the support, understanding and backup from many of the local radio station here in Peoria IL, RCP is reaching out to all their fans, family and friends to stand strong with them, as they do their best to become one of the major sports team here in Central IL.
As you know last week they was able to be interview by our major news reporters of WEEK (CINews) with B.Lee and M. Wells, now last night Coach Bishop aka Papa Smurf, Dwayne Flournoy aka Sauce and Mr. D of the RCP staff came forth to share their vision, goals and purpose here in Peoria IL and Central IL area with Dj Smooth of WAZU 90.7 FM.
Listening to the seriousness of main goal, is one thing I truly enjoy hearing, for I have had the pleasure to be a part of the growth, and see the changes within the team take place live. They have a amazing goal to achieve, and many people in this area truly desire for them to achieve it, but lets be honest, they need the back up, they need the fans, the need sponsoring in order to achieve the goal of being the major Semi Pro Basketball team for Peoria IL and Central IL.
Can it be achieve? Yes it can, along as they continue to strive, and be part of the community, many will begin to see what their main purpose is. One of the major purpose is to encourage the community, change lives, and inspire the youth of today. Their second goal is to grant each player the opportunity to be seen, and maybe one day be able to play overseas, D-League and may one day be on a NBA team. Trust me you never know what will take place is everything is done right and taken seriously.
As they begin to speak with Dj Smooth, can hear the joy of being a part of Peoria IL, and being heard in Central IL.
So I say to you, set back, and enjoy the interview, for I surely do.
